Decanter Retailer Awards
Third time lucky! We are so happy to announce that we recently won the Best Specialist Retailer for Spanish Wine awarded by Decanter.
This is a national award so it's a really big deal and we will probably be banging on about for weeks to come!
We work really hard with all our team, suppliers and staff to represent Spanish wine as thoroughly and passionately as we can, including wines from as many regions, islands, producers and varieties as possible.
But of course its not all about quantity. Our wines are chosen for their uniqueness, lesser known producers and varieties, but quality will always prevail.
The Autumn Sessions Wine Tastings

The next session is going to be particularly good. We have a Tapas Room take over by The Modest Merchant. Alex and Jack will be hosting simultaneous tastings in Battersea & Peckham on Tuesday 12th October, presenting Coastal Wines of Spain.
Spanish wine is a fascinating world for so many reasons, not least because it benefits from two huge coastlines. Dotted along these coasts are villages producing grapes that have never left the area. We will be exploring 5 wines from both coastlines, including 2 whites, an orange, a rosado and 2 reds.
Alex & Jack of The Modest Merchant are known for representing smaller, artisan producers and bring some of the most unusual and interesting wines to our list. We hope you enjoy this tasting as it will be very special.
Your tickets come with a meat & cheese plate, almonds & olives to nibble on while you taste some delicious wines.
