We only went and won an award! The Tapas Room Tooting was "Commended" in the Best Newcomer Category at the Time & Leisure Food & Culture Awards!These awards recognise businesses across the SW London area and Time & Leisure distributes throughout Wimbledon, Wandsworth and local boroughs. We were really pleased as it was a public vote that got us to the final 10 and the only Tooting based business to be included in the awards, so thank you to those who voted!
COMING SOON TO SW9? Are we about to get the keys for a new site in SW9? We may well be! All our fingers and toes are crossed for a new site in Landor Rd, between Clapham North and Brixton. We're really excited about this location, the site is much larger than Deptford & Tooting and will enable us to expand our retail offer much further and with this extra space we can create a training hub not just for our staff but for wine tastings, supper clubs and community events. The scope of this location will allow us to really push The Tapas Room into new areas. We'll keep you posted with launch party dates!
PROMOTIONS Our Maxwell (our Deptford Manager) is the Deptford Deal Don. There is something on offer every day of the week. Always a BIG DOG RED on offer where Max will open our more weighty reds that are not usually sold by the glass for one off weekly offers. This means you can try those lovely big reds without committing to a bottle. #AskMax Our regular Tight Tuesday, in both Tooting & Deptford, offers bottles at their shop/takeaway price, which is always considerably less than the drink in price. So Tuesdays are good for tucking into those more pricey bottles that may not always fit your budget. Wine Wednesday over in Tooting, Adrian will always have a few bottles open for you to try for free, usually to a theme of region or grape variety. If you are interested in wine then always #AskAdrian, he has a immense knowledge and can give you some crazy wine facts that make the drinking all the more enjoyable! Deptford's Early Bird Special runs Tues-Fri up to 7pm, and offers our legendary meat & cheese board and a bottle of House for only £25, with an upgrade to Cava for £30! I'll have two please. Plus we'll soon be introducing a Bottomless Brunch on Sundays, where you can drink unlimited Cava for 90 minutes for only £25 in conjunction with at buying a couple of plates of food. Great times.

It's that incredible weekend that celebrates all that is wonderful about the food & drink culture in Tooting! Yes Tooting has got so good that there is a whole festival dedicated to it! The Tapas Room Tooting will be offering up a nice autumnal special as part for the Tootopia Food Trail. Adrian will be rustling up a lovely Fabada alongside a Spanish Spritz of Vermouth and Cava to wash it down with!
